Project Winners: Talawanda High School and Fairfield High School

Talawanda decided to create the High Five Club, an after school intramural latchkey program bringing the opportunity of an intramural program to the kids in their community when there was none to begin with. Along with athletic development, the program incorporated integrity, respect, and teamwork, which incorporated the theme of this past year's Youth Leadership Seminar theme. Three area elementary schools were targeted and funds were raised to accommodate their program. Fairfield also developed a mentoring latchkey program as well. In the end, the leaders of these two schools were able to pour their lives out into their communities and with out a doubt impact children for a lifetime.
