Program Highlights:

Do you know a high school student who is pursuing Academic excellence, Athletic achievement, and an Active role in the community while possessing a strong Ambition, a winning Attitude and the ability to overcome Adversity?

The Anthony Muñoz Foundation wants to identify AND reward such students as part of the Anthony Muñoz Foundation Straight “A” Student Campaign.

• ALL high school students (freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors) in our Impact Region who demonstrate the new meaning of “Straight A’s” will receive a commemorative certificate along with name recognition on our website.

• Anthony and WCPO's John Popovich will join 18 seniors in celebrating their all-around achievements at Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse on April 29, 2008.

• The 18 finalists will recognize their “Most Influential Teachers.”

• One male and one female will receive a $2,000 grant towards their continuing education as well as a commemorative ring from Graduate Service, Inc. The remaining finalists will receive a $500 grant.

• Nomination process began January 1, 2008 and ended February 29, 2008.
